The general operating cost for Beyond the Vision Community School is $120,000 USD per year.

Sustain Our Mission by Providing Education for Primary School Students
Yearly commitment.

BVCS provides education, nourishment, and victim advocacy services for hundreds of children in the Tassia Slum. We believe that education is the key to breaking the chains of poverty.
Education from qualified Kenyan educators. BVCS curriculum meets Kenyan educational standards and prepares students for success in secondary school.
Two meals per day. Malnourished children are provided with special porridge to support weight gain.
Hygiene and etiquette training so that BVCS students can fit into any social situation.
Mental health support, victim advocacy services, and mentorship sessions. BVCS protects and counsel victims and prosecutes their abusers on their behalf.
Biblical teachings and spiritual guidance from visiting pastors and missionaries. Kenya is a Christian nation and the Bible is a required part of Kenyan curriculum.
Every year there are more children asking to join BVCS.

Scholarship beneficiaries must earn good enough grades to be admitted to secondary school. They are the top performers in their class.
Sponsors receive letters and progress reports from their sponsored student.
Sponsors provide vital financial and spiritual support through the crucial teenage years.
Scholarship beneficiaries receive mentorship prior to going to secondary school and when they return home on breaks. Mentorship ensures the success of the student.
Every year there are more students in need of scholarships.

The Beyond Vision movement is continuing to grow. We have plans to obtain more property and develop facilities to support and expand the work of Beyond the Vision Initiative. We can make these plans a reality with your help!
Purchase or receive a donation of land in the country outside of Nairobi.
Build a secondary school for BVCS graduates so their education can continue with BVCS staff.
Build missionary housing to host missionaries from Kenya and abroad.
Build a shelter for BVCS students and Tassia community members who are victims of violence and abuse to remove them from danger and support their healing and recovery.

Pay for electricity to be brought into Tassia so the school can be wired with electricity and permit the use of electricity by students.
