From the Classroom to the Community: A VIDEO Message from Kenya

1 min read

What does it look like when education, faith, and opportunity begin to change lives and an entire community?

In this 18-minute video, you'll hear directly from Jackie, the teachers and staff, current students, university-bound graduates who have returned to volunteer, women in the Livelihood Program, and community leaders.

You'll also hear from John, BVF's founder and past president, and Karen, our current president.

As you watch, there are several special moments to look for. Meet

a young woman discovering the wonders of nature for the first time. See how students learn through call-and-response teaching, a practical and culturally familiar way to reinforce learning even when textbooks and classroom visual aids are limited.

You'll also see that the school provides nutritious, balanced meals, although the current budget allows fruit only once a week and meat at Christmas. And don't miss the joyful celebration as the community gathers to honor women graduating from the Livelihood Program!

These are more than individual stories. They are glimpses of a community growing in knowledge, confidence, faith, and opportunity.

We invite you to watch, meet the people behind this work, and see the difference being made in Kenya. Thank you for being part of this ministry through your prayers and support.
