Raising a Generation for Christ

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. — Proverbs 22:

Dear Friends,

Today, I would like to share something very close to my heart.

Many people know that Beyond the Vision Community School was established to provide quality

education to children from vulnerable communities. That is certainly true. Education is one of the most

powerful tools we have to break the cycle of generational poverty. It opens doors, expands opportunities,

and gives children hope for a brighter future.

But when God placed the vision for the Community School in my heart, my dream went beyond

academics.

One of my greatest joys in starting the school was knowing that I would have the opportunity to spend

time with children every single day not only to teach them reading, mathematics, and science, but also to

teach them the Word of God.

I have always believed that while education is important for the African child, the Word of God is even

more important. Education equips children with knowledge and skills, but a personal relationship with

Jesus Christ gives them purpose, identity, wisdom, and the grace to become the very best version of

themselves.

"Knowledge may prepare a child for a career, but knowing Christ prepares a child for life and for eternity."

At Beyond the Vision Community School, we intentionally nurture the spiritual lives of our learners through

the Pastoral Program for Instruction (PPI). Through this program, children are discipled in age-appropriate

ways, helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and morally as they progress through school.

Our teachers use Christian learning materials designed specifically for each age group, from our

youngest learners to our teenagers in Junior School. These resources help teachers better understand

children's developmental stages, use songs and storytelling as effective teaching tools, and lovingly guide

children as they begin or deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Some of the most precious moments in our school happen during these sessions.

• They happen when children lift their voices in worship.

• They happen when a teacher pauses to pray with a child who is struggling.

• They happen when learners ask honest questions about God, faith, forgiveness, and purpose.

• And they happen when a child chooses to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

These are sacred moments.

As educators, we recognize that we are merely tools in God's vineyard. The children entrusted to us

belong first to Him, and it is our privilege to nurture, guide, and point them toward Christ.

Our vision is not simply to raise children who excel academically, although we certainly desire excellence

in education. Our prayer is to raise a generation of young men and women who will faithfully represent

Christ wherever God calls them.

We are raising future teachers who will teach with compassion and integrity; doctors who will heal with

excellence and love; entrepreneurs who will create opportunities and steward resources faithfully; public

servants who will lead honestly; and business leaders, engineers, lawyers, artists, scientists, and

innovators who will reflect Christ in both word and deed.

We believe that God has placed unique gifts and callings within every child. As we educate them and

nurture their faith, we are trusting God to raise a generation of Christ-centered leaders who will serve as

salt and light in the marketplace.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden... let your light shine before others, that

they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:14-16

Our prayer is not simply that our children succeed in life, but that wherever God places them, in

classrooms, hospitals, boardrooms, laboratories, businesses, farms, churches, or government offices they

will faithfully represent Christ and use their gifts for His glory.

As we raise children in the fear and knowledge of God while providing them with quality education, we

believe we are doing far more than changing individual lives.

We are shaping families. We are strengthening communities. We are raising future leaders. Most

importantly, we are giving children the greatest gift of all: the opportunity to know and believe in Jesus

Christ as their Savior.

When you support Beyond Vision Foundation, you are doing far more than funding a child's education.

You are investing in Kingdom work. You are helping raise a generation of Christ-centered leaders who will

carry the values of the Gospel into every sphere of society and influence the world for Christ.

None of this would be possible without you.

Thank you for investing not only in education, but in the eternal destinies of children. Thank you for

partnering with us in this Kingdom work. Your generosity is helping raise a generation grounded in faith,

equipped with knowledge, and empowered to fulfill God's purpose for their lives.

We are deeply grateful to be fellow laborers with you in God's vineyard.

With gratitude and blessings,

Dr. Jackline Musyoka
