Here is a fun video featuring Darin Patzer, station manager at Shine 104.9 in Spokane. Our daughter Miina nominated her dad, John, as a Shine Superhero — and Darin read the heartfelt narrative she submitted live on the air!

We happened to be in Kenya when we received the news, so we made sure the moment was recorded. Miina then created this wonderful video, weaving in pieces of our time in Kenya as well.

This week, Karen is joining Darin for an interview to share more about Beyond Vision Foundation and the incredible work being led by our dear sister in Christ, Jackline Musyoka.
